Analysis of Luna Pazza

JESUS BETANCOURT 1955 (New York)

Suddenly realized I forgot to shave
Looking up at the moon I felt furry
Near the shore surprised by sound of wave
Under lunar light began to worry

Senses weren't human anymore
Couldn't control why I was changing
Hunched down to the ground on all four
Suddenly I began howling

Clearing the beach of screaming people
Running wild on the cool sand
Capturing one of them proved fatal
Dragged him off by the hand

Sunrise I woke up bloody bare
Lying next a skeleton
Onlookers around would stare
I realized what I had done
