Analysis of Odd surroundings

Doreene Felder 1967 (Phila.)

Open your eyes to your surroundings
What do you see?
You see some good folk
Some bad ones
Feels like they are watching you and me
The saddest of disasters takes place right before your eyes .
The wit of the enemy
Who tries to compromise
The blank look on faces
With strong embraces.
The wickedness filled
With evil purposes.
Can't point fingers
No one understands
Every man has a purpose
Is it God's plan?
While losing your way
It's impossible to  take a stand
Just remember the whole world is held
But only in God's  hands...
