Analysis of Dear Lord

Lord knows how I need him
How much I love him
He knows how you ridiculed me
Betrayed me and my trust
Saying I'm too spiritual
Not understanding the entire time
You say these things about me
He is the one there
Filing me with his word
His love and truth
Never abandoning me
Or leaving me alone
When I doubted myself
He reminded me I wore his crown
Making me smile
