Analysis of The Portal

You sit by your lonesome in your boring bedroom
You shiver in the quiet while your sickness consume
You turn to your solitary frosted square window
But what you see is not the usual New England gloom

Today is the day you find the portal

You see in your view shrooms in all sorts of hues
Mushrooms in colors red, yellow, greens even blues
You open your window and breathe in the fresh summer air
And all of a sudden the world transforms into bamboo

Today is the day you find the portal

This unbelievable transformation causes you shock
You see a bamboo forest, snow, and a small baby fox
The chilling crystals blow in your open window
But again it transforms this time into a beach and a dock

Today is the day you find your portal

From mundane to shrooms to bamboo to dock it changes
You are confused and hope it will not transform into any dangers
This beach is pleasant the ocean calming your sickness begins to fade
When the portal becomes the peaks of the tallest mountain range

Today is the day you find your portal

You are feeling better now you get up out of your bed
You are elated now you no longer feel like you are dead
You walk through the window through the portal of magic
You walk two steps then a brilliant white light fills your head

Today was the day you found your portal
