Analysis of Displaced

I searched my soul and mind
Aimlessly for a human face
All the echoes came back
The message was short and true
They all have been displaced and permanently replace
Where is the reference
Where is the broken compass

Looked for love and compassion
Feed lies and stories opaque
Weaved by minds which only knew hate and deceit
