Analysis of The pond.

I saw the pond
under the shadowy trees.
As if the pond was taking rest
among the surrounding forest.

When the rain drops kissed on its brest
and the sun lit embraced it.
The pond water made circles
and sometimes flirtiously ripples.

Kingfishers dived into the pond.
Ducks swam on it.
The watery weeds took short nap
and the fishes played in its lap.

At night when the starry sky
reflects on its water.
It is illuminated with night candles
and spends jocund nights.
