Analysis of Got My Eye On You

Latin X 1967 (Philadelphia)

Latin X is coming at you with a super set.

Listen here, I’m about to be in your ear.
I’ve been writing rhymes for about  two years.

These rhymes are for you to hear.
I got my eye on you if you think these rhymes are for you to steal.

Keep singing that lame shit.
While I come out with some crazy shit.
My rhymes feel like I hit you with a stick.

When you remember Latin X you’ll think before you steal. You know my rhymes are hard as steel.

I’m coming at you with some crazy shit,
continue singing that dumb shit.

Cause Latin X got this.
Leave the rhyming to the real G’s.
Stop kissing ass and get off your knees.
