Analysis of Temagami Trip

Up at our Friend's
Group of cottages
Lake Temagami.
Used to be a kid's camp
Turned into condos.
Americans loved the area
Bear Island Reserve
Not far.

Great for pickerel
Too late now for lake trout
They have gone deep
Into cold waters
Friend Ron knew the
Right placement wind
Weather time temp
To succeed and he showed.

Night time was prime
For fireplace, CBC Radio
Novels casual talk cards.

Other visitors were
New Yorkers, hunters
Buried  deep in
Poker and  Vodka
Pickled cherries.
Jars of the suckers
Eventually they would hire
A native to guide  them
To the Dump
To kill their animal.
Easy venture, spineless.
Not at all Daniel Boone.
