Analysis of L'Amazone
Maurice Rollinat 1846 (Châteauroux) – 1903 (Ivry-sur-Seine)
Sur les grandes bouses de vache
Le soleil met un ton pourpré.
Elle chevauche au fond du pré
Avec un petit air bravache.
Elle effleure de sa cravache
Le cou d’un alezan doré.
Sur les grandes bouses de vache
Le soleil met un ton pourpré.
Mais son long voile bleu la cache,
Je ne puis la voir à mon gré ;
Et mon regard tombe navré,
Et machinalement s’attache
Sur les grandes bouses de vache.
