Analysis of An emotional journey (Senryu) 575
Tear drops like rain drops
run down my cheeks from my eyes
this pain I can't hide.
Sunshine warms my heart
cleansing my soul of sorrow
banishing black clouds.
A cool icy breeze
vanquished negativity
erasing my fears.
Bright shimmering lights
streaked through the star speckled sky
igniting my faith.
The silvery moon
cast soft subtle rays of hope
releasing my gloom.
I held out my hands
and embraced the solitude
of this tranquil place.
