Analysis of Bloody Harlan
Of Ambrose Metcalfe
Very little is known
From bloody Harlan
As lawman he stood alone.
A gold star and six-gun
He wore with pride.
Upholding the law
'Til the day that he died.
Just for some ice cream
He rode into town.
By ruthless assassins
He was gunned down.
In bloody Harlan
The killers went free.
A young mother cried,
Where is justice for me?
Ambrose had brothers,
Or so they say.
Justice was served
The bloody Harlan way.
