Analysis of Creation

Beginning one extraordinary day--
On a lonely arm of the Milky Way
A clouding nebula starts spinning around;
Collapsing, exploding without a sound.
The orb grows denser and its' core ignites
Thus the Sun is borne to shed first light.

Elements floating in the gaseous waste
Crash, holding fast in an electron paste
whose pull of gravity begins to form
a perfectly perfect celestial storm.
Raging through time, it deposits in space
the Heavens and Earth in their proper place.

Now is the time for molecules to school
as the molten planet begins to cool.
Solids and liquids and gases alike
find balance as they separate and strike
a symphonic chord, the harmonic strand
that separated the seas from the land.

Ravishing storms let loose upon the Earth;
Electric Fire and growling Thunder birth
Basic life—basic plants seed and take root;
Growing tall, long, and wide; then bearing fruit
so sweet, so soft, so lavishly adorned;
photosynthesized family is beautifully borne.

In the heavens above the stars shine bright,
guiding the Moon through the darkest of nights.
She glides as she waltzes a tender dance,
gently countering the Sun's sprightly prance.
The beat which they keep so steadily moves,
Time came to measure their regular grooves.

Through the folding oceans and skies so blue,
Kingdom Animalia comes to construe
Adaptable species that swim and fly;
Mighty mosquito and trilobite try
making ends meet in this primeval place
where refuge is won by the quickest pace.

Simple forms of life begin to advance,
designing creatures across the expanse
--a planet where Aardvark to Zebra run
freely at night and under the Sun;
Wherever, whenever they possibly please--
through beaches, green meadows, rivers and trees.

Man and his brethren created of dust,
Standing upright, are gifted with a trust--
a deed for the land--they walk through and tend;
each plant and each creature they gladly befriend.
At the end of the day, when all was good,
knowledge of duty became understood.

Thus is the duty of each descendant:
Love every life and remain attendant.
