Analysis of Goodbye

Tonight my love...
I long for you my dear.
Remembering the great memories of us being together.
The sweet caress and the tight embrace,
And all other precious moments we shared
Will be cherished and long remembered.

Tonight my love...
I need you here beside me.
Knowing the best in you and knowing the best in me.
But fate my love is so unfair and so unkind.
We have the right love but in a wrong place and time.

Tonight my love...
Is just one of the lonely nights.
The sky is so dark, no twinkling stars so bright.
The night is still, no moonlight that shines.
Feeling the emptiness of a love that can never be mine.

Tonight my love...
I just wanna say goodnight,
I hate to see you go, but I hate for you to see me cry.
I hate to say...farewell my love.
Because, its hard to say,"GOODBYE"
