Analysis of Her Presents

She is undefined
I am unrefined
left in the dust at dusk
dawn arrives a moment too late
paying no attention to nothing
listening to the cracking of knuckles
and the crackling of candy wrappers
my attention span on ten-second intervals
she is younger
I am young at heart
the boy-wonder unsettled
the revolving door of a man's mentality
judgeship engaged by hardship
elevated trial and necessary tribulation
paranoia has my back
the moment a stranger appears
until the search is won
she makes everything bad disappear
I am on another level of consciousness
Though I fear her unknown words
