Analysis of I am envy of the Architecture of the past

I am envy of the Architecture of the past
It has treasure & knowledge to study vast
A marvel of Science, intellect to surpass
Those were the great people, and smart

With fewer instruments, there was advance
They rendered great services for the mass
In society, they're masters of Science & Art
Now have better gadgets, them to outsmart

If we were in those eras, would have cried
Despite the hardship, were great people, tried?
Shows, their level of confidence were right
In their Arts, they were smart with insight

Best part like us, were not living luxury life
Being devotee, did it with intellect's might
That's why their names are in History bright
Were excel in but have no passion & insight

We are at ease but a lot to learn with insight
Being selfish, discarded ethics, fire to ignite
Need to balance our lives to come out of strife
We are doing great but still are short in insight
