Analysis of Kiss Me Quick!

What makes people unsatisfied is that they accept lies,
collect admiration like pinned down broken butterflies,
egotistical phantoms flutter with fascination,
curled up inside a deranged poetical fixation.
Kiss me quick attitudes slip on hats of complacency
while on others words they fashion their ripe dependency.
Humanity suffocates society's bland answers
with expressions of distrust running down her wide features.

I'm stuck inside progression's individuality,
dark rants capture light raves with beautiful complexity
and like an old magician I conjure simplicity
to wrap up excitement in fast feathered perplexity.

Flash those white teeth as you applaud those casual emotions,
crack open a dull vision that feeds blank structured notions,
think why existence is in the arms of insanity
while combing your hair in the ripples of sweet vanity.
Whispers behind scenes are rife as they gather our madness,
happy faces hide in the realms of smooth buttered sadness,
one more trophy that collapses when you vanish to sleep
but before those visual dreams call fractured eyes fall and weep.

I'm stuck inside progression's individuality,
dark rants capture light raves with beautiful complexity
and like an old magician I conjure simplicity
to wrap up excitement in fast feathered perplexity.

I'm stuck inside progression's individuality,
complexity is beautiful coloured absurdity,
simplicity pulls hankies from its affability
as I laugh and continue to scream deft activity.
