Analysis of Let the green die

I Cage the birds                                                                                                                                 paint the leaves with grey                                                                                          And throw the dust in the sky                                                                                                                           I will crumble with my joy
Make room for my ego to play
Sing my own tune
And perish with my blue sky
Remaining unheeded for others cry
The green may die!
