Analysis of Listen To The Sky

The moon says…
Shy at times, but often bold,
I guide the night travellers
and govern the tides.
Man loved me so…
he scaled the impossible
to kiss my substance
with humanity’s friendship.
I am the very clock of time!

The stars say…
Not fair, our light is older,
brighter and bolder.
We lead the lost - home
and shoot the arrows of passion
that the lovers of the night wear.
Worshipped by many,
we are the wishes and dreams
of the people of the world!

The clouds say…
We are the cloak of emotion,
creating the feelings of the day,
Or night! The clouds crowd in…
We obscure you’re space
and race across the sky
with playful direction,
changing and moving,
inspiring the passionate arts.

The rain says…
Clouds - you would not exist
without us - we create you!
Water of life - forever green,
re-cycling eternally these
chains of re-incarnated tears
that quench the dry land
And supply the living.
Look at our immense power!

The wind says…
Clouds, I blow you away,
I take you where I please,
I am king of the skies!
A kiss of a breeze
on a midsummer’s day
or the wrath of the gods
that sulk like teenage angst.
I am truly awesome!

The sun says…
Without my light,
the moon and stars
would be hidden from sight.
Without my heat,
the water cycle would retreat.
Without my power,
life would cease to be.
I am indeed the earth’s trustee!

The sky just sighed and smiled
It was that same old argument
Older than time itself - it never got dull!
