Analysis of lost love

where have you gone that hurt heart of mine
you have been so lonely and so hard to find
we use to fit so well like a hand in a glove
but that was when we new real love
but it has been so long since we have seen love now
I hope it will find it's way back to us some how
and bring a smile to a lonely face
and help to fill in that empty space
