Analysis of On Matter

On Matter
Part I.
God
Unseen, unheard
Created all matter
From anti-matter,
Set worlds in motion,
Spun the galaxies like toy tops,
Set all in their circular paths,
Perfect and complete.

Part II.
 Gravity,
 The eternal law
Which He created,
Also unseen,
Causes motion and
Leads heavenly bodies
In intricate dances
On elliptical courses
To music played by the stars
and composed by God .

Part III.
We
Come from dark matter
And dark energy
The vast, black back
Of Chaos
Tattooed with spirals
And bursts of color
Young and old
Timeless
Fed by fusion explosions
Pushing outward
Pulling inward
With invisible arms
Like a child
Spoiled and Unruly.
God creates
From this nothing.
He creates
light and color;
He creates life.

Part III.
Newton
Star student at Cambridge
Mathematical genius
Discovers Gravity
And laws of motion
Thanks to a falling apple
And God
