Analysis of The Finale

My life has been a culmination
Of light and dark
Of bitter sorrow and despair
Of love, laughter, and joy
And they have always been at odds
With one another
Like fire and snow
Air and ocean currents below
Muted, strong, the battle raged on
While I was in a cloak of mist
Staring into its depths
Where things weren't as they seemed
My heart was pierced and skewed
And my ambitions were cast in wayward wind
While I tossed about in heated fervor
For a justice that does not exist
For so long, I had lacked the courage
The courage to fight this foggy shroud
The courage to reach towards truth
The courage to fight for kindness
But now I have been shaken
By a lone flare that has illuminated my darkness
Pointing me in the right direction
Like a northern star
I am fixiated on it, I revolve around it
I ponder its meaning and its worth
While my gaze is lifted upward
And the heat within me rises
I remember who I truly am
And the skies come alive with dancing flame
A crescendo of whirring sparking light
This is my finale, my discovery
And it is burned into me
Etched into every corner of my mind
I will never forget who I truly am
