Analysis of The Last of the Dominoes

cold coffee, cigarettes - breakfast of the gods
it's 5 am, proclaims the clock, alarming void that is my kitchen
and what can tele say? more conflicts, drastic spots
world map in fight, exploding, bitching...

politically correct - my name is corpse,
lost on the rivers and the flops, the itch in plethora of ways
stagnated time, the moment stays
seized in its own depressing "how are you...?"

for me, the war implies the past
the present - not a life, existence
the veterans are out cast
like dominoes we fall, without resistance

i'm but the last in line, just waiting out the time

eyes - closed, no sound and no surprises
and I remember...
spring of '62...my baby girl
is learning how to walk, I show her...
here's step... here's one... here's two!

we dance, ah, the bliss of smiles!
we - family, we - close!
please, god, please, bring me back in time
just for a minute that is not lost
at least it's not, in my imagination

we...we were, we WERE!
so proud, so young, so careless!
yes... we were...once....
of what has been remains an ounce
a modicum of memories of happy days
stagnated time, and moment stays...

p.s. (distant sounds)
- daddy, I love you! hahaha!
- I love you too!!! My darling baby girl!
- daddy....lets...go..!
- ......:)....!
