Analysis of the love game

it tears you apart
piece by piece
ebbing away at the edges
soothing the sides
of all that is you
that was

it entices you
with its long awaited promises
holding in its palm
all of tomorrows dreams
that are still to come
of the unbroken aspirations and desires

the path of sadness
sits quietly, patiently
waiting for its time to come
whispering with the shadows
almost whimpering to be released

its time will come
it always does
for, like anything in life
you cant have one and not the other
love vs lonliness
happiness vs sadness
fullness vs emptiness

with all love
comes times of sadness, but
no matter how it may try
pull you down : jus remember

without failure and disappointment
one can not apperciate
victory!!
