Analysis of The Rose Garden

Oh what a glorious sight to behold
When through a garden of roses I go.
Amazed to espy each bud unfold.

Stop and smell the roses, I have been told.
So as I linger along every row,
Delicate scents of my senses take hold.

Hues of soft pink, pure white, and gleaming gold,
Royal red, blue, and exotic yellow
Remind me of a patchwork quilt of old.

Sweet sounds in the rose garden soothes my soul
When the black bumble bee keeps his drone low,
And the silent humming bird plays his role.

Such a beauty of sight and sound untold
Stimulated by this fine floral show
As in the rose garden, I continue to stroll.

I pause, and listen to the stories told
By the birds, of how the sweet roses grow,
And there before my very eyes, behold
Yet another beautiful bud unfolds.

Above all, to be respectful and helpful to my fellow man. more…
