Analysis of The universal Wide

How many different ways can we see the same thing?
About as many as notes as we could sing
Flats and sharps plus all other parts
Delivers the charts rating with hearts
The only issue is that this falls apart
When the fans don’t come through
And now what, all they wanted was you
A false true
As the lime light fades to dark
Time creeps in leaving its mark
Pleasure and pain all wrapped together
Measured mostly by the rainy weather
and they say
When in rains it pours
When you close a window open a door
Keep your friends close and enemies closer
Never stick a fork in the god damn toaster
Some things in life are so simple
Like skipping rocks to see the ripple
Other times we let them splash
After all life’s too fast
All we can do is smile for the moment
Or spend a lifetime in atonement
Indifference can not save
Any man from their grave
For all those who cross the River Styx
In a boat for a couple pence
Is this how you want it all to end
A little ride, not a swim?
Let me feel the river one last time
As we all know death is life’s final rhyme
