Analysis of Time Limit
Time separated Love
from her long time partner,
and the song she sings is now broken,
the gentle hush of her wings bring sadness
that would crush any mortal happiness.
Though Time does not mean
to break Love’s heart,
he is doing so, shaking her foundations,
and all the while she screams, “No!”
Screams cannot help her, for Loyalty
is giving her Reason and has brought her back
to seasoned Reality.
Love hangs her head in sorrow
as she knows tomorrow lies in wait,
waiting to sever those boundless ties,
to take away the man she found.
