Analysis of Under the Bridge of Blue

As I''m standing on the bridge of blue
looking back at the crossroads of my life
all the heartaches of my broken dreams
tears, and sorrow, pain, and misery
the wounds of my broken heart
being healed by the river of dreams
back into the river of dreams I gaze
at neon lights reflecting in the water
again a faint echo in my mind
one leap of faith for love awaits
my gaze lifts to where neon lights
are coming from across the river of dreams
their beacon so bright still softly beckons
I take one step towards the neon lights
leap of faith taken, I keep walking
across the bridge of blue where love awaits
under the bridge of blue my heart lightens,
love anew, my broken dreams at an end
