Analysis of What Your Smile Does
Your smile is my guide
In this haunted forest,
And when you smile,
All the ghouls float away
Like clouds of cotton candy.
Your smile is my hope
That sends me aflutter
And when you smile
My stomach feels like it's full of demented butterflies.
Your smile is my comfort
In a world without hope,
And when you smile
Anything feels possible.
Your smile is the deep ocean,
That calms me with gentle waves
And when you smile
It's like watching the sun set on the water.
But in a life full of it, you will never know,
And you'll never know
I feel like I'm floating
When you say hi to me.
You'll never know
That you mean the world to me.
You'll never know.
