Analysis of Wine Sign

The Fourth of July
Just moments away
A foreign yet domestic
Piece of historical fray
I think of it's meaning
I think of my preening
Before the night
When fire will be screaming
Freedom and faith
Whiskey screwdrivers and wine
Is this ignorance or
Is this a sign?
