Truth Finds

April Martin 1983 (cookeville)

look what youve done to me
you spin me around and twist me up
like i was one of your wonderous other love so

so many youve had before and after me

ooh ooh oh
ive got to say ive got to skip over you
im threw
you are old news
you are  only confused.
baby im not mad
are you listening at all
you are just not happy and my words say its your call
theirs something missing i see from this
your not ever going to be free to fly until you gain your wings.
oh and what i mean
is find what your heart sings
Look inside for that love you know
its the only way for you to fly
step your feet in sand
and dig your toes down deep
keep searching and searching it is your keys
keep a locket around your neck
to remind you of your song
when you start to sing you will know
you've earned your wings to fly
you have found your way to where your truth lies
no more running because your scared and you hide
from a wall you've chosen to break down by using women unintentionally
your heart finally forced you to be set free.
