THE DARK PRINCE
Phil Roberts 1957 (Melbourne)
The dark prince draws near
From the dire underworld,
Where nothing good resides.
Some call him Satan
Others Beelzebub, but
The Dark Prince is his name.
As the dark lord comes
All decent things run and hide,
Fearing the Dark Prince.
The Netherworld is
His true home; yet at times
He likes to walk the Earth.
He rules the dark world
Where capering demons wait,
To invade your dreams.
The Dark Prince roaring
Calling down death and plague,
To call upon our world.
Demonic creatures live
In the dark neighbourhood,
Where his word's the law.
The Dark Prince visits
The Overworld by darkness,
But returns by light.
THE END
