THE EDGE OF FEAR
Phil Roberts 1957 (Melbourne)
She takes you to the
Very edge of death itself,
Very edge of fear.
The dark woman knows
How to thrill men; excite men,
Scare them half to death.
Taken to extremes
Her love can be fatal,
Can give you joy and fear.
She can excite you
With her brutal passion,
Her love can terrify.
At the edge of fear
Her lovers can't resist,
Her lethal affections.
She gives you great warmth
She gives great excitement.
Then gives you great terror.
The dark lady knows
How to take you to the edge,
Of ecstasy then fear.
