In The Distance.

Teresa Whitney 1951 (Tacoma)

In the distance in my dream,
I saw a young fellow following me,
I stopped in my tracks, and turned around,
Only to find this young fellow gone,

What could this mean, I have not a clue,
Wondering if maybe this young fellow is you,,
In the distance in this dream,
I look for shelter where I might lean,

Wondering I am often more than not,
If this young fellow knows where I am at,
He could not do a thing to harm me,
So why run away, this I cannot see,

I start out walking once again,
Where I am heading there is no sin,
The thought of this boy will forever stay,
After our meeting that very day,

There is a message within this here,
Read it my friend if you so dare,
Know in your heart no harm comes to me,
Because my heart, mind, and soul are set free.
