Painted Skies

From birth my skies have been dark, rainy, full of snow storms within my storms, hail from hell, and if the sun was bright and shining, it was filtered by the solid particles & impurities of the dark clouds surrounding me..
No grass beneath my feet.. No flowers or roses.. No trees with leaves or birds that chirp.. No bees fighting for buds and flowers.. Just black eyed crows and wolves roaming aimlessly on this cold patch of land..
Nothing more to do but lay on this frozen dirt.. Hungry, lonely, and cold to the bone.. Lord, please let me go.. Let the crows eat out my eyes, that I may not see darkness any longer and the wolves devour me whole, that I may not feel any longer..
My breath is shallow, my body is numb.. No pain, just thoughts.. From afar I could see a shiny figure.. Closer and closer it gets.. Then and then only, could I see it was a woman. She was bare with a crown of feathers.. Her skin was shining like diamonds.. I could see and feel her unmixed, undiluted, unblemished, untarnished pure soul..
She reached her hand to help me up.. I could feel my legs & back get strong.. I could feel my heartbeat getting hard.. I asked, WHERE DID U COME FROM? She said, I COME FROM THE BOSOM OF THIS LIVING EARTH.. I told her, CAN’T U SEE EVERYTHING IS DEAD HERE AND WHAT IS NOT DEAD WILL BE NO MORE AT SOME POINT OR ANOTHER..
I am PAINTED SKIES and my skies protect the surface of this earth.. BUT, THERE ARE NO TREES WITH LEAVES OR BIRDS THAT CHIRP.. NO BEES FIGHTING FOR BUDS AND FLOWERS.. JUST BLACK EYED CROWS AND WOLVES ROAMING AIMLESSLY ON THIS COLD PATCH OF EARTH..
I am PAINTED SKIES and I will paint your skies with colors and humble ur heart’s beat with mine.. She pointed towards the dark sky and the skies began to open.. I could feel the warmth of the sun’s rays hit my face and feet.. I could feel the grass beneath my feet.. I could see the buds & different kinds of flowers and roses..The trees all had leaves with different color birds chirping.. The bees are not fighting for buds and flowers.. River flowing.. Mustangs and bisons free and running wild..
I could finally see the beauty of this amazing earth.. The beautiful painted sky.. Even the rain was fresh and good for all life forms.. I could see different shades of color painted in my skies.. I Am able to breathe and live in peace.. I Am able to smile and laugh. I Am able to turn red when I look at my PAINTED SKIES!! Knowing she is always looking over me.. I will plant my seeds and she will water them.. That they grow and bear plentiful fruits and flowers.. I will always be grateful even if my clouds come back.. I know behind those clouds is a BEAUTIFUL COLORED SKY..
