Pillow

Pillows don't yell,
pillows don't fight.
Pillows make you feel comfortable
and not like you don't have a right.

Pillows can take your breath away,
but only with others hands
pillows are here to stay,
to chase bad dreams away.

Soft cuddling you so you can play another day,
refreshed without dismissal,
a love with no strings attached,
pillows would never do that,
you fall a pillow would catch.

I love me a good stuffed pillow
with downy feathers plush.
I will always love my pillow,
so dependable and lush.

Thank you sweet soft pillow,
for always being there,
when others walk away,
and show they do not care.

You lie next to me and under me,
never asking me why,
I am who I am or try to make me cry.

Dear soft pillow,
you try to catch all my tears,
from all the heart ache I have been through,
in all these difficult years.

You never are the jealous sort,
you love me anyway,
you lie with me and lie with him
and never make a fray.

Pillow you just get me,
form fitted just for me.
My soul is imprinted,
for your downy soul and me.

I love you dear sweet pillow,
please don't ever leave,
like the predecessors you have seen walk out the door,
leaving the hinges swing.

All I need is you sweet pillow,
if you will stay I will stay too.
We can walk the earth together,
our souls we two can renew.
