Peridot of Love

Sherry Caayupan 1980 (Davao city)

I yearn a modest embrace,
A surround circling music;
My loving soul will never stray,
This love won't ever be weakened;

Painted in red and rock strong,
Your drowning words does move me;
A blasphemy or a mournful song,
I strut in merry rhapsody;

Your touch took me a special place,
A daily life that I thrive in;
A single minute in a day's solace,
Seemed to run on me endlessly.
