Todays Phone Call

Hello.  It’s me calling from a tree
From a tree?  Yes a tree
Hello.  It’s me calling from a mountain cave
From a cave? Yes a cave
Hello.  It’s me calling from my bike
From your bike?  Yes my bike
Hello.  It’s me calling from a Ferris wheel
From a Ferris wheel?  Yes a Ferris wheel
Listen.  Can you hear the typing in your ear
No one talks from a phone can’t you hear
The faint typing of fingers so clear
No one has anything to say it was all typed away
