Peace After Nihilism

Inside I am screaming for an existence with a deeper meaning, this can’t be all there is.
I search for depth but instead I am met with a materialistic, shallow surface,
I long for connection, but am only offered objectification, something definitely feels amiss.

Gradually expanding, slowly understanding that maybe we haven’t been set up to fail,
Out of reach dimensions, higher vibrational creations might lay behind this marred human veil.

I anguish at the intensity of this earth’s constrictive density; I crave more space.
They must have heard me because everything is shifting, falling asleep, I feel my energetic body lifting to another, lighter place.

I find my escape in meditation or at night time, but then come’s their cessation and I’m back to the twisted, music less pantomime.

But at least now I know this isn’t all there is.
