What if

Toni Perry 1990 (West Virginia)

What if I were to die today
How would you remember me,
Would I be remembered as the friend you
Could count on,
Or the love you’re glad you
Didn’t miss out on,
Would you talk about the good times
The times that make you feel good
About knowing me,
Take a stroll down memory lane
There will be moments that make
You laugh, moments to make you cry,
Even moments that make you ask why!?
Why did it have to be you!?
Moments where you will be thankful I’m no longer in pain, I suffer no more
No matter the moment, no matter the emotion
Know that I’m better than I ever was,
And I’m here with you, I’ll always be here with you
