True love

Once in a life time true love catches your eye
Once in a lifetime true love passes you bye
And if you are so lucky to have it come your way
You will know this love forever with you will stay

It has no bounds of time or distance or age
It has no lines of start or end or wage
It is not something you can put up on a shelf and simply leave behind
It has no switch or way with which you can resign

You see true love is not something you just make believe
True love just comes along and gentley you conceive
It's life's way of giving you the desires of your heart
It's life's way of giving you true meaning to impart

True love may sometimes be out and in the open
But sometimes it's just a silent feeling which is often not spoken
Whichever way it goes it never leaves your side
Because it's not possible for true love to be denied

So if you are a lucky one to have been touched by true love in your life
You'll know it in your heart and mind that true love has no strife
And when there are no words or voice that  you often want to hear
Just know that true love lives inside your heart so very loud and clear

Let true love have its freedom, let true love free to grow
Because true love is the only thing most everyone wants to know
And if that one true love has come and touched your soul
Just let yourself be prepared to be a part of the whole

True love will always be something without compare
Because true love is the only thing that two people can actually share
