The Name Above All Names
The Great Mystery.
How can The Part — apart from.
That which is The Whole.
Ever comprehend Wholeness.
Singularity of All.
About this poem
The son of Berekiah and grandson of Iddo the Priest, Zechariah, the eleventh prophet of The Twelve Minor Prophets of the Tanach, the Hebrew Bible, was born in Babylon, and is traditionally considered as the author of The Book of Zechariah. In Zechariah 14:9, Zechariah describes the character and nature of God as the Noumenon, with the Hebrew words “Sh’mo echad,” which translates into English as “His name is One,” and which also reveals the essence of God as that of Singularity, an Hebraic perspective of ancient Hebrew culture that is not easily understood or grasped by Western cultures. This Japanese style Tanka poem, “The Name Above All Names,” seeks to return humanity to Wholesomeness through divine healing, and to restore and preserve the Great Mystery of the Godhead to all who have ears to hear and eyes to see. more »
