Perfect and proud

Depression, another session, therapy, what's wrong with me, bits of rage in a cage. I can't escape the elevation of the stress that people press on me cause the way I see, people bully me, every night I feel I’m not right but I have to fight to make my burden light, the heights I have to go to to get one thing right it’s unbelievable It’s terrible and unbearable but I continue to convince you nothings wrong but that reality is long gone. I’m always sad and mad and my dad can‘t do anything about it. My confession is depression is harder than you could imagine. How could this happen to me? I just want to break free and see what others think of me. What is the key to lower the degree of how I think of myself? How long will I have to work to free myself from myself? What is the lesson I’m supposed to learn from depression because the aggression leads me to more therapy sessions and we talk but I’m still the one who has to walk to the light at the end of the tunnel? But my feelings just funnel and create a wall I have to breakthrough. I have no idea how to break through or who will help me do it. Depression makes life blue and that is absolutely true. The depression only grew and there is nothing I can do except lose but as I open my eyes I realized I am who I am, perfect and proud.

The poet describes the real struggles within and the strength to see the light at the end of the tunnel. We are who we are. This deserves to be recognized.
