The color yellow

Yellow
I wouldn't even blame you,
struggling on what to say,
Yet word vomiting it all for the world to see,
Would you rather I cry?
Would you rather I frown?
Speak to me,
Lighten up my path,
The sun shines bright enough to blind you,
Yet never allowing you to truly see past it,
Skip the fake talk,
I don't owe you a thing,
You don't own me,
Does my smile make you nervous?
I want to love you, to touch you,
My emotions are reflections on glass,
Perfume rubbed into my wrists,
But why does it stench up the room?
Why do I act the way I do?
Winding up on the yellow brick road to our doom,
Try to teach me new things,
Hear me out,
Hold my hand,
Lessen the boredom,
Sacrifice your blood,
The flowers bloom and dance within the morning glory,
After a rainy and dreary night,
Can we just be honest?
Why must we waste each other's time like how we do?
Will you ever look past the words I speak?
My indifference will never change,
But will you stay the night?
Let us have some fun,
Let us fulfill our desire to fill the void.
