Proposal

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

From breath to breath you never know
Which one will be your last

Does it really matter?!!!

If you go to church or fast

Before I was afflicted I would often go astray
But since my Father humbled me
Its here at home I stay

When I get to heaven
There’s a home there for me too
The Father’s Son has built it
And its there for me and you

He’ll make us pillars in his house
We’ll never have to leave it
He’ll write his new name on us
And then gladly we’ll receive it

Jesus wants to write on you
To make it fully known
From now on you belong to him
With you he’ll make his home

Will you let him?
