Psychological Hindsight

Karl Constantine FOLKES 1935 (Portland)

Getting  new meanings.
Psychological hindsights.
By looking backwards.
Hindbrain scans as our hindsight.
Projected onto forebrain.

About this poem

Self-reflection: I have written this one-stanza tanka poem, “Psychological Hindsight,” as an afterthought to my previously composed poem, “Man in Search of Self,” recognizing that my earlier written poem ironically remains a riddle to me myself, and requires continuous lifetime deconstruction, with this poem as the beginning of that soldierly effort. Such is the life of a poet.
