Perfect Happiness at your Feet

Saibal Mitra 1966 (Kolkata)

The hearts have unified
And the knots have been tied
The place is private
and sitting next to my soul-mate
There is no fear
Neither any barrier
As the mood sets in
It is time to close in
As the shyness goes
And the craving uproars
The bodies go bare
With gentle love and care
As the hearts mingle
Two bodies become single
As the love flows
The heart and soul glows
The feeling is so complete
As though perfect happiness is at your feet
