Pete The Goldfish

I have lost a dear friend, his name was Pete The Goldfish
His death was his own fault because he was so churlish
He jumped out of his fishbowl onto a plate
Death was inevitable, as the hungry man ate
As he bit into my friend, he screamed in disgust
He claimed that a refund was a must
But I was in shock, he just ate my friend
And that's how Pete's life came to an end
