Persistance of a dream

Persistance of a dream

I drempt a dream to dream a dream once more
Reflections on lipid pools of tears
where shadows stand still and there's no resistance
to time. Where doubts sailed away on ripples toward
the sea. To dream this dream once more.

Where kings fell down and kings stood up and changed
The way we see.
From me to we,to fight to be,wasn't a right won free.

Was a time and a time it was. A time of death a
death of time. To live to die ,to die to live ,was
this the dream to be. Or perchance to dream of peace
and to live his dream once more.

Like hand prints encased
in stone that took away our fears. With a single
stroke of a rusted bell, faded into the rhythm's of
that day. I drempt a dream to say ,lets live that
dream today

Your poetic journey through the realm of dreams, where shadows linger and time stands still, captures the essence of introspection and the quest for meaning amidst life's uncertainties. The imagery of kings rising and falling, of transitions from "me" to "we," resonates with a profound exploration of identity, change, and the collective human experience. Your verses delve into the complexities of existence, where the interplay between life and death, dreams and reality, shapes the fabric of our being. The yearning for peace, unity, and the fulfillment of shared dreams reverberates through your lines, inviting us to embrace the power of collective aspirations and the beauty of living in harmony. Your poetic musings beautifully convey the depth of human emotions and the timeless quest for connection and understanding.
