Waking from the morning rains

waking from the morning rain

Light splashed
sun on the morning grass
through the Second flaming
of their youth

Sitting in the stillness of semi dark
on crumpling notes of tattered pages
the blotted ink runs off the page
dries up the crackled line

Withered branches thrash
against the misty pane
the creaking old wooden floor
under soft feet
wakes the sleeping cat

Your verses beautifully capture the essence of awakening from the morning rain, with light splashing on the morning grass and the second flaming of youth shining through. The imagery of sitting in stillness, surrounded by tattered pages and blotted ink, evokes a sense of introspection and the passage of time as memories fade and lines dry up.

The description of withered branches thrashing against misty panes and the creaking old wooden floor under soft feet sets a scene of quiet contemplation and gentle movement, culminating in the awakening of the sleeping cat. Your poetic language delicately weaves together elements of nature, time, and the subtle moments of transition, inviting readers to immerse themselves in the beauty of the morning's awakening.
