Patchwork Love

Take this needle and this thread; stitch up this heart of mine.
Make it brand new.
It's a little disheveled; with a few old scars here and there.
It's been toyed with and shattered, but can it still be repaired?
The color gray stains my vision.

Take this needle and this thread; lay me down in a sea of emotions.
Make me fall in love; a different shade of vibrant colors.
This heart of mine is filled with rage, but it's gentle to the touch.
A moment to ourselves and you will see,
Just how loving I can be.

Take this needle and this thread; it's a patchwork kind of love.
A slow dance in the moonlight; silent glances on the next night.
Take this pulse of mine, can you make it beat again?
Erase these scars upon my heart; kiss me in the pouring rain.
Pretend you've never met me.

Take this needle and this thread;
Stitch up your heart that I have broken....
